Flights are resuming at Istanbul airport this morning, hours after the airport closed due the military’s attempted coup.
Following the events in Istanbul on 15th July, 2016, Turkish Airlines has issued the following statement.
“Announcement from Turkish Airlines to our esteemed guests and to the public, upon the call of our President and Commander-In-Chief H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, our operations at Istanbul Atatürk Airport have gone back to normal and our flights resuming safely.”
“We kindly ask our passengers to check our official communication channels for new information in order to avoid any inconvenience.www.turkishairlines.com”.
